This is our first “Best of’s” edition and since it falls on Christmas Eve, what better way to end the holiday season. This week is Best of 2020 Weekly obsessions and I am featuring products that have won the popularity contest with our readers. I couldn’t agree more. So here they are in no particular order.
Frank Body Coffee Scrub $16.95-$19.95
Hailing from Australia and touting all-natural ingredients, I am a huge fan. For the last 5 years, I have this product shipped to me on the regular. One of our readers wrote; “there is no better product on the market to treat my extremely dry, finicky skin.”There is no question that this brand has gained a huge cult following over the past few years and with good reason. Just try it, you will be hooked too. frankbody.com
Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream $24.99
This is no secret that people love this product. It has won countless beauty awards year after year and when one jar sells every second around the globe, pay attention. It works. About 10 years ago I booked myself a facial at a 5-star hotel, I asked the esthetician what moisturizer she recommends, I was blown away by her answer. Expecting to hear some $100 dollar cream being sold at the hotel spa, but what I got was honesty and I’ve been using it ever since.
One K&T reader sent us a photo of her 93yr. old grandmother. Saying that she has been using Olay cream for over 45 years! Trust me, she could have said her grandmother was 73 and I would have believed it. olay.com
National Geographic Photo Ark $19.12
I was so pleased to receive so many comments from our readers regarding this book. Samantha J. from MN said it best; “it is unfortunate that most of these animals will only be a photograph. I appreciate you featuring Joel Sartore’s brilliant work and hope it helps raise more awareness.” I couldn’t agree more.
This book was 25 years in the making and the brainchild of Joel Sartore. His goal to capture the image of every species held in captivity from around the globe is so beautifully done. It will capture your heart and hopefully inspire change to save our wildlife. target.com
Restaurant &/or Small Business Gift Certificates $-$$
This is a no-brainer and I understand why so many people “liked” this Obsession. We all know that restaurants and small businesses have suffered the most during this pandemic. While eating indoors may not be an option, purchasing a gift certificate for when you can is a great option. They also make excellent gifts for anyone on your list all year round. You are also doing your part to help these local businesses stay afloat. Now that’s a win-win in my book.
Happy holidays, we wish you a joyous time with loved ones young and old.
