I know what you all are thinking? Really? More pumpkin stuff? It’s only the first week of September! Yea yea. I got it. But evidently, we are a pumpkin-obsessed society. Okay. “Pumpkin spice” obsessed. My point is, that it seems to be everywhere and in almost everything. This year sooner than ever.
According to Google Trends, searches for “pumpkin spice latte hair color” have risen 450% in the last week alone. “Pumpkin spice ravioli” saw a 900% increase and an impressive 1,000% increase for “pumpkin spice cheesecake enchilada” searches. Huh?
Ok, they lost me on the last one. 🤢For the most part, I am not a “pumpkin spice” fan, but what I do like is that it signifies fall is on the way 🍁 and that my friends are worth celebrating.
This week is my way of embracing the pumpkin craze. Top-selling beauty and skincare products with the main ingredient being… you guessed it. 🎃
Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask Enzymatic Dermal Resurfacer $60 peterthomasroth.com
Powerful triple action treatment mask to address dull, aging, and congested complexions. Pumpkin enzymes naturally exfoliate to reveal a smoother skin surface. Alpha Hydroxy Acid’s chemically exfoliate for a fresher more radiant appearance and oxide crystals physically exfoliate to reveal a brighter youthful glow. Use twice a week on clean dry skin and you’ll see why this top-selling mask has gained cult status.
Arcona Pumpkin Lotion 10% $26.25 skinstore.com
Infused with pumpkin extracts and glycolic acid. This highly active all-natural lotion goes on with a slight tingly sensation, just to let you know it’s working. Anti-aging ingredients go to work to regenerate skin cells and reveal a softer smoother finish. FYI, you will not smell like Thanksgiving Day dessert. I promise. 😉
Elemis Superfood AHA Glow Cleansing Butter $38 dermstore.com
This 3-in-1 cleanser doubles as a hydrating makeup remover, and a deep cleansing mask as well. Containing fermented pumpkin to enhance skin natural cellular renewal process. Mango butter to nourish and hydrate skin without stripping it of its natural oils. As far as I am concerned this is a 1-2 punch for effectively removing makeup while preserving skin’s natural moisture balance.
Native Pumpkin Spice Latte Deodorant $12 nativecos.com
This is a bit of a stretch for me but I’m going to trust that the “public” knows best here. 😐 First of all, I am a huge fan of this paraben and aluminum-free deodorant, my scent of choice being palm leaf & bergamot. The polar opposite of what the company claims to be their best-selling fragrance.
Every fall Native releases their most beloved scent; “Pumpkin Spice Latte.” Described as sweet and cozy, with subtle notes of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. I suppose there could be worse ways to describe your underarm aroma.🤔
Hey, this scent is only available this time of year so why not enjoy these products before they are pulled from the shelf. You know you are curious, you may be saying to yourself…it’s September I can wait until November but my question to you is why wait, this product is for you no one else. Enjoy my obsessions!
